The Wardrobe Is the Mirror You Forgot To Read

You already have a mirror in your bedroom. But there’s a second one, and most women
never think to read it — the wardrobe itself.
Every morning it tells you something. The pieces you reach for consistently, the ones you always push past and that dress you’ve kept for three years and never worn. That’s not clutter, that’s information.
It's a record of how you’ve been seeing yourself, hung up on a rail.
Here’s what I’ve watched happen for years: a woman stands in front of a full wardrobe and decides the problem is her. Her body, her age, her confidence. She books a course on self-belief, when all she actually needs is to simply fix her Foundation pieces.
A confidence problem and a Foundations problem look almost identical from the inside.
Both feel like "I don’t know how to dress anymore." But they are not the same thing, and you cannot affirmation your way out of a wardrobe with no working base.
When your Foundations are right, the pieces that do the work, season after season. Getting dressed stops being a daily negotiation with your own reflection. You stop asking the mirror to reassure you.
So, before you decide the issue is you, read the other mirror first. It’s usually more honest. If your wardrobe has been saying something you don’t like, that’s where we start.
The Wardrobe Edit is built for exactly this.
